From The Farm...Saturday, July 04, 2009Remember, we are open regular farm stand hours on all holidays. We close at 3pm on weekends. Please read your Handbook for more information about farm stand hours. As of this date, we have pick-your-own herbs (varieties are listed on the PYO board in the farm stand; if the herb is not listed on the board, it is not available for PYO harvesting) and flowers (Family/Boxed: 10 total stems; Individual: 5 total stems – please pick varieties that have flower description signs on their rows. Other flowers are not ready for harvesting. In the farm stand as of today, summer squash, green garlic, potatoes and lettuce may be available. Cabbage, salad onions, fennel, radicchio and beets may be in a choice group. You must be wearing your membership card in order to enter the market and PYO fields. Please do not walk on plastic mulch while in the PYO fields.
